How To Order

Making a purchase could not be simpler. Simply browse our vast range of personalised products by browsing the categories along the top or trying typing in what you are looking for in our search box. Then complete the necessary personalisation details where prompted and add the item to your basket and checkout as normal.

If you wish to order a personalised teddy bear or animal then find the one you wish to personalise and click the 'personalise for £x' button whereby it is added to your basket and then you will be taken to the 'tops to personalise' page whereby you choose the colour and style of top you wish to personalise. (This step is for our large embroidered bears only) If ordering a printed teddy bear then they automatically come with a white t-shirt so you won't have this option for these. Add your chosen top to your basket and then you are taken to the bear design tool page or printed bear design tool page for Medium printed bears only, where you complete the necessary fields in the bear design tool and can click the orange link for help at the top if you are unsure what to do or read below for some tips. Once you are happy with your design, scroll down and click add design to basket. You should then be taken to the shopping basket page whereby you can checkout or continue shopping if you wish to order other items or would like your order gift wrapped. When finished click the basket link on the top right of the site and complete checkout as normal by completing all boxes when prompted.

On the checkout page you can choose your required shipping option, redeem discount codes and then click checkout whereby you can checkout as a guest or register for an account. By registering for an account you won't need to fill in all your details again and can view past orders. You then need to fill in your billing and delivery address by using the postcode address finder button.  If you are sending an item as a gift then please make sure the billing and delivery addresses are different so we then know not to include an invoice in the parcel.

Then choose your payment option from the list and if you choose to pay via your debit or credit card then you will be taken to the SagePay payment page. You may be taken to your banks website page asking you to enter digits from your password. This is totally secure and is called 3D-Secure and is the online equivalent to your pin number that you would use in the shops. This was setup in 2009 and customers who use a debit or credit card online will be prompted by their bank when using it for the first time to setup a password. This is the case for all websites not just ours.

Once your order is complete you will return back to the Ready Teddy Go website and receive a confirmation email for both the order and payment.

You can then login to your account to view the status of your bear and can also use your order number and postcode to track the delivery of your parcel through the box on the homepage or by logging into your account on the website or by clicking the link included in the dispatch email you should have received.

I’m afraid we cannot take orders over the phone as the bears can only be designed in our bear design tool however if you are experiencing problems please view our FAQ page for helpful tips or give us a ring on 01865 772516 and we will talk you through it.

Bear Design Tool

**Please make sure that any text entered in the bear design tool is entered correctly and spelt correctly and use capital letters where you want them as we will be copying exactly what the customer enters and can’t accept returns for mistakes not made by us. NB in most fonts all CAPITALS actually makes the text site small and not bigger.

** The design displayed in the bear design tool screen is not 100% exactly how it will appear on your chosen top as it is difficult to match thread and print colours with computer screen colours and also if the design is embroidered then stitches are not solid colour like you would see in printing - please view examples of our bears in our gallery to see what embroidery looks like.

**If you choose an image then we will normally arc the top line of text if there are enough characters entered to do so, we will make all the text on both the front and back of the top as big as we can to fill all the space on the top and it will always be centered.

Payments

All major debit and credit cards are accepted via Sagepay (Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Solo, and Maestro)

For more information on Sagepay please visit their website www.sagepay.co.uk

Or you can pay via your Paypal account if you hold one. You can also pay with your card through Paypal without an account and Amex is accepted this way.

I'm afraid we can't take payment over the phone

Accordingly, you should read the relevant laws and guidance from the regulatory authorities for a full explanation of these rights.

8.2    Your principal rights under data protection law are:

(a)    the right to access;

(b)    the right to rectification;

(c)    the right to erasure;

(d)    the right to restrict processing;

(e)    the right to object to processing;

(f)    the right to data portability;

(g)    the right to complain to a supervisory authority; and

(h)    the right to withdraw consent.

8.3    You have the right to confirmation as to whether or not we process your personal data and, where we do, access to the personal data, together with certain additional information. That additional information includes details of the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data concerned and the recipients of the personal data. If you have created an account with us, then you can see what data we hold for you and past orders.

8.4    You have the right to have any inaccurate personal data about you rectified and, taking into account the purposes of the processing, to have any incomplete personal data about you completed.

8.5    In some circumstances you have the right to the erasure of your personal data without undue delay. Those circumstances include: the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed; you withdraw consent to consent-based processing; you object to the processing under certain rules of applicable data protection law; the processing is for direct marketing purposes; and the personal data have been unlawfully processed. However, there are exclusions of the right to erasure. The general exclusions include where processing is necessary: for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information; for compliance with a legal obligation; or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

8.6    In some circumstances you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data. Those circumstances are: you contest the accuracy of the personal data; processing is unlawful but you oppose erasure; we no longer need the personal data for the purposes of our processing, but you require personal data for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; and you have objected to processing, pending the verification of that objection. Where processing has been restricted on this basis, we may continue to store your personal data. However, we will only otherwise process it: with your consent; for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person; or for reasons of important public interest.

8.7    You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation, but only to the extent that the legal basis for the processing is that the processing is necessary for: the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of any official authority vested in us; or the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us or by a third party. If you make such an objection, we will cease to process the personal information unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

8.8    You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes (including profiling for direct marketing purposes). If you make such an objection, we will cease to process your personal data for this purpose.

8.9    You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data for scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes on grounds relating to your particular situation, unless the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out for reasons of public interest.

8.10  To the extent that the legal basis for our processing of your personal data is:

(a)    consent; or

(b)    that the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are party or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract,

        and such processing is carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive your personal data from us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. However, this right does not apply where it would adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.

8.11  If you consider that our processing of your personal information infringes data protection laws, you have a legal right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority responsible for data protection. You may do so in the EU member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.

8.12  To the extent that the legal basis for our processing of your personal information is consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

8.13  You may exercise any of your rights in relation to your personal data by written notice to us via email in addition to the other methods specified in this Section 8.
